Chambard claims victory in the Kim Muir Handicap Chase after outpacing long-time leader Didero Vallis and fending off joint-favourite Mister Coffey to win the final race on day three of Cheltenham

  • The Venetia Williams-trained horse got the better of stablemate Didero Vallis
  • He also managed to fend off 5/1 joint-favourite Mister Coffey on day three 

Chambard saw off joint-favourite Mister Coffey and long-time leader Didero Vallis to emerge victorious in the Kim Muir Handicap Chase at Cheltenham.

The 40/1 horse, trained by Venetia Williams, outpaced its two closest competitors at the second to last in the final race on day three of the famous racing festival.

Williams, who also trains third-place Didero Vallis, has now claimed eight winners at Cheltenham.
